I love that this can be positive or negative, depending on how you read “drops.” I think maybe you have some magical, medicinal candy that helps release creativity when you need it. And maybe “loser” in the title indicates the capability of losing one’s soreness, physical or emotional. I think this is a hopeful poem.
Hi, will get caught up (I hope) over the weekend!! That first Courtney Kampa poem is so powerful, so beautiful, so charged with grace that I haven’t been able to even read the others. I’m just stopped in my tracks. I don’t ever want to get over that poem.

I am enjoying your daily poems very much.

Thank you so much! I agree with you about the last line, could go either way. I wanted a better title, maybe reinforce that,, but ran out of time!

I love micro poetry, so this made me happy. I find so little of it online.

Love this, and agree with all of Shawna’s comments.
Maybe the alternate title is “Soar Loser.” 😉

Just popping by for today’s poem, but it’s not up yet.
You should check her out. I think you’ll like her style:

That’s exactly how I felt. And I immediately thought of you and this poem—needing inspiration. That piece is such, if I’ve ever seen any.
